HISTORY
The first Alpha Centurion was a Hypertime variant of Marcus Aelius Superman encountered during Zero Hour. Shortly thereafter, our own timeline's Alpha Centurion arrived in Metropolis. This Centurion was Marcus Aelius, who had been abducted by a spaceship from ancient Rome circa 100 A.D., and spent centuries with the aliens. Using the alien technology and the spaceship called the Pax Romana, Alpha Centurion started a career as a superhero. He joined the LexCorp Legion of Metropolis and became the leader of LexCorp's security team called the Centurions. He worked together with Superman and even organised a rescue squad to save Superman from the Galactic Tribunal and the Cyborg (II). Later, Alpha Centurion was publicly embarrassed as a hero by Lex Luthor and left Metropolis. He has kept a low profile since then and his current whereabouts are unknown.
