HISTORY
The Green Lantern of space sector 777, Bogosar was renowned for his knowledge and brilliance. He was considered a genius among his peers in the Green Lantern Corps and especially to the space-faring villain Intellex.
Known as the "Brain Bandit," Intellex acquired the brains of those he considered worthy of his collection. It mattered not to Intellex if his chosen targets were still alive when he tried to collect their brains.
Shortly before the so-called Crisis on Infinite Earths, Intellex overcame Bogosar. The circumstances of this confrontation have yet to be revealed. Bogosar's brain was considered a valuable treasure by Intellex who then made a second attempt but failed to collect Superman's brain as well.
After his defeat, Intellex was sent into deep space by the victorious Superman. Bogosar remains part of the "Brain Bandit's" collection. - Action Comics #575
Bogosar was memorialized in the Crypts of the Green Lantern Corps on Oa. - Green Lantern/Sinestro Corps Secret Files #1
