HISTORY

Meershom was a soldier in the Sinestro Corps called by Sinestro to defend Korugar in Sector 1417. Meershom, Narok, Malia and a fourth corpsman were en route when they were attacked by Black Lantern Harbinger. Attempting to flee, the foursome thought the could ambush their pursuer in Sector 2828, but the Black Lantern could sense them. Sinestro Corps soldier Narok was slain and his ring went to Vril Dox II. Even Dox and his small group of R.E.B.E.L.S. could not withstand the Black Lanterns for long. Above the planet Kandato, Black Lanterns Harbinger and Stealth attacked, and Meershom was killed by Harbinger. - R.E.B.E.L.S. #10

When last seen, Meershom and his fellow Black Lanterns were sent through a transmat portal to Maltus, headquarters of the L.E.G.I.O.N. - R.E.B.E.L.S. #11
