HISTORY
Recognizing the need for a secretive location for the Corps to regroup should disaster strike, a few Green Lanterns, including Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner and Kilowog, randomly selected an uninhabited world in Sector 2000. Jordan code-named the planet "The Green House," despite its arctic conditions. Although its temperature was unsuitable for human life, the atmosphere was breathable. While the planet featured no civilizations, The Green House was observed to host both animal and aquatic life.
Jordan and Gardner met on The Green House during Krona's takeover of the Green Lantern Corps. Unable to risk using their power rings and lost in the snow drifts, they stumbled upon the entrance to the subterranean base. Their stay was brief as they utilized the Interceptor, a starship hidden there a year earlier, to make their way to Oa to rescue their enslaved teammates.[1]
