Comment(s):

The title Legion of Super-Heroes changes focus from the "Five Year Gap" Legion of Super-Heroes to the "Post-Zero Hour" or "Reboot" Earth-247 Legion of Super-Heroes, though they would not be identified as "Earth-247" until the Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds mini-series.
Legion characters will be indexed with an "(Earth-247)" descriptor. Aside from a few exceptions, such as Earth-247 itself, all other profiles such as planets, alien races, technology whether or not they originate in the Earth-247 reality. Notable differences shall be addressed in the profile articles themselves.
This series' continuity becomes intertwined with the Legionnaires series, allowing in effect for the Legion to be published bi-weekly. While the DCU Guide will index both series with "triangle numbering" for easier navigation, the triangle numbers themselves did not appear until January 1996.

Solicitation:

With the timestream restored, it's back to the future for the incredible origin of the 30th century's greatest heroes. As the free worlds of the galaxy take their first tentative steps toward unity, multibillionaire R.J. Brande looks for a way to repay the universe for his lifetime of prosperity.

Synopsis:

Three youths rescue R.J. Brande from an assassination attempt. Afterwards, Brande offers them the chance to form a new team: the Legion of Super-Heroes.
