Synopsis: - The verdict has come in for Doctor Psycho's trial, but before it can be announced, the Society cause his psi-inhibitors to malfunction, and he begins to enjoy himself with everyone in the courtroom, including his attorney Kate Spencer, who he is surprised to discover is also Manhunter. Meanwhile, Chase discovers that Sweeney Todd is hunting only women on the verge of manifesting meta-powers, and is harvesting (and probably eating) their pituitary glands. Also, Mark Shaw leaves the home he's sharing with Dylan Battles, still struggling with blackouts. Manhunter is able to overcome Doctor Psycho, embedding part of an energy blade in his brain. She discovers that the verdict would have been not guilty, and Director Bones is very pleased with her work, as he knows that she will now be the attorney of choice for the supervillain community. She is blissfully unaware that the Society are also glad that Doctor Psycho has been incapacitated, as he was becoming a liability to them.
