HISTORY
A scientist working on a remote terraforming research station in Sector 1122 had their life drastically altered when the Red Lantern Corps attacked. While the others in the research team were killed, they were spared from the initial assault. The Red Lanterns needed them to send a distress call to summon the Sinestro Corps. By the time Dez Trevius of the Sinestro Corps arrived to investigate the research station arrived, the scientist had been transformed into a Red Lantern.[1]
Trevius himself was then converted, joining the Red Lanterns in an assault against his former Sinestro Corps comrades, planning to strike on New Korugar. This attack was orchestrated by the Red Lanterns as an act of vengeance for a prior conflict. However, the battle was abruptly cut short, as the Sinestro Corps knew of their plans from Lyssa Drak and were prepared. Outnumbered and out maneuvered, the Red Lanterns were forced to retreat due to the strategic arrival of Ranx.[2]

POWERS AND WEAPONS
The Red Lantern of Sector 1122 wields a red power ring giving it the capability of flight, survival in space and most dangerously, the ability to spew a napalm-like red plasma from its mouth, which incinerates all it touches.
