HISTORY
Located in Sector 563, the planet Zezzen is renowned for its indigenous race of living energy beings, the Zezzites. These beings exist within the "Sea of Generations," an intermingled mass of their energy forms, from which they can coalesce individual shapes but cannot fully separate from the Sea. Green Lantern Gorin-Sunn became the first and only Zezzite to leave the planet, thanks to his power ring creating a containment construct.[1]

The Durlans, whose unstable physiology required energy to maintain their forms, showed significant interest in the Sea of Generations. They sought to consume excess energy to permanently adopt the form and attributes of the Daxamites. To fuel this ambitious scheme, they targeted the Sea of Generations on Zezzen.[2]
The Durlans arrived on Zezzen having already replicated Daxamite forms, but the Green Lantern Corps intervened, standing between the Durlans and the Zezzites. Ultimately, the Durlans were defeated by the Lanterns, aided by others whom the Durlans had betrayed in their widespread conquest plans.[3]
